Lore:
The ships of Numenor came in many shapes and sizes. The first ship to make the journey between Numenor and Middle-earth was Entulessë, captained by Vëantur in the time of Tar-Elendil, 600 years after the founding of Numenor. One of the most famous mariners was Aldarion, who first explored the seas with his grandfather Vëantur on board the Númerrámar. Over the years he built larger and larger vessels to take him further over the seas to explore the coasts of Middle-earth.

One of the other most famous ships was Alcarondas the "Castle of the Seas", which was the Black-and-Gold flagship of Ar-Pharazon, Last King of Numenor. This was the ship he sailed west, breaking the Ban of the Valar to invading the Undying Lands.
