Tbh, why would we need a barrel of weed? Weed isn't stored that long, because it gets under the grinding stone asap, because flour (much denser) is longer able to stay fresh. For flour however, that is usually stored in sacks. So maybe a sack texture?I will upload "fillers" here as I make them. Up to y'all whether we use my barrel or Ecth's.

A sack texture would be fantastic, tho i wouldnt make a 3d model for it, would look ratter weird
It took a while to understand but..I made a special block type for the new custom inventories wich places a block, and at the same time an invisible armor stand which adds the content texture at the correct position. In this way each content type does not need another block state but only another item state (more than 3000 free ones using armor with durability). The builder will not even notice, he just take the block from the custom inventory and places it. When a block is broken the armor stand is removed by plugin also. For each content there will be a block in the custom inventory.
As an example I made some barrels, using @Fireinferno13 's model and also some half slabs. All barrels are using the same block state (cactus, age 5). All half slabs using the same block state (red sandstone half slab)

Would it be possible to use MCME textures or at least textures of similar quality? These look a little like the default stuff imo.

Sorry, but I have another note on your texture.. The chain/rope logs would be very useful for cranking system for cranes and portcullises I think, but your current texture is just one single turn around the log. I suggest have the entire log covered with chains/ropes, like here:Boop

It depends on the block if a transparent textures is rendered with transparency. When you put a transparent texture on a glass block, you will see it transparent. Put the same texture on a dirt block and it will be opaque.
