Mojang bought by Microsoft

Really disappointed they didn't sell themselves to EA, would have been for the better. #EAMasterCompany #EA4LYFE

EA has some horrible engines though. SWTOR has the best one I can think of, and its buggy and fractured as hell at times. Plus if any of EA's track record is to be considered, they would turn Minecraft into the now popular F2P with exponential drawbacks until you break down and start buying stuff, type game. Steam might be able to handle it, Valve Engines would give physics and interactions a boost. But then Steam would sell the game for $80 dollars.

Umm i believe he was being sarcastic :P

I'd be scared except that a lot of the original developers will be staying with the projects, so it should still stay with the Minecraft tradition. You know, there are some things that wouldn't fit well in Minecraft, and I'd be afraid that Microsoft would add those things. Still, I don't think it's going to be the same, so...it's been nice playing Mojang Minecraft with you, and welcome to the new age.
But other than all of the sentimental shenanigans, I don't have many objections.
