if you take out the http header and add an extension (which doesnt actually matter either) that would be completely correct...

So you wanna tell me that I can embed images by simply using the file name, without using an URL??

Ya they are called system files. Because q runs this off nginx the photo would need to be his www file but after that there would be no problem. How do you think the image got on the internet for you to pull in the first place :P (also bb codes might not like system files, but html would)
