The map was posted on the Minecraft Forums on the 10th of December 2011, so we can assume 1.0

Jord, that's FoG :3 He's asking about the new one.
I think it will be 1.7.whatever we are using now. That would have to be confirmed by bevs or shmatt though.

May I ask what Minecraft version The Fable of the Five Wizards is for?

It's worked flawlessly for me on 1.7.9, so you should have no problem running it in that version.

I do know for a fact there are some graphical bugs in 1.7.2, so for the best experience you'll want to at least be higher than that.
