Hello there, I quite like what you got there with your village, the style is a bit simple but it works. I have a few tips on making it feel more alive though:

- Add more different wood on the ship, it feels very bland and the detail you made on it is not very visible
- The ship itself could use some more realistic shapes too, I suggest next time maybe try working of of images, you simply can't make a good ship without knowing how they should look and unless you know a lot about ships a simple google search should do the job. Also feels a bit too big. ;)

- The houses could use some greenery and details, add some bushes and trees close to them, connect some fences to them or give them a small garden or even a farm. All small details can work, a stall, a crate next to the wall...
- Houses don't need windows everywhere, it's harder when doing the interior and just doesn't feel realistic.

- The road could use some grass and dirt mixed between it, feels more natural.
- The coast/beach area could also use some dirt (maybe different types like podzol).
- a different tree type would also maybe work, I know those are hard and I struggle too with them, but like big old trees look very nice anywhere.

But those are just things to add that feeling like someone lives(or lived) at the village, shape wise the house look good and the colours work together.

Thanks, I'll be sure (or at least try) to include those details next time I build that kind of village.

Whilst I certainly doesn't have as keen eyes as Finrod has for this there's only two things I feel worth mentioning and that's that I think it would look better if you used the six-sided logs atop the pillars in your barn and the other thing is that the dirt in the pens and along the water ends rather abruptly don't you think? It doesn't look natural/realistic when the dirt forms perfect edges.

Also that missing block by the bridge kinda bugs my estetical senses. Then again, it does add some uniqueness and variety to it.

I'm also a bit curious as to from where the hay bales in the wheat field comes when the field has yet to be harvested.

Okay... my morbid curiosity won over me so I gotta ask: those trapdoors in the bedroom, are those decorational or do they cover something? I know it doesn't matter in the slightest, I just... I don't know why but they made me curious okay?

Those were trapdoors that were covering the stairs. You have to open them to go up, but they make the top floor look more spacious.
 
You know what? I think I found someone that's ready for Artist! Congratulations! I am not at home rn, so I fear I got to make you wait for a couple hours more, alternatively hit up an Enforcer and show him this post.

Still I do not want to refrain from pointing out some minor details, some of which ryttyr (thanks) has already pointed out:
  • Stream edges: Make the splattered materials a bit more fuzzy and have it go 2-3 blocks into the terrain than just a 1-block line. Looks very abrupt as ryt said. Similar for the pen which is completely out of dirt (and podzol) splatter some grass there as well, especially below the fences where animals won't stand as often.
  • Add some dirt where they felled trees, doing so probably stirs up the ground a bit.
  • Fields look very nice!
  • The small bridge with logs as sides: I would not recommend using logs for non-straight things; trees usually grow straight and bending an entire tree is something I have not even see in modern times yet.
  • Lovely cart and grainery
  • The dock on the lake is probs a bit large for such a small lake
  • For the point ryt made on the logs inside the barn: Imagine how you'd erect this and how gravity works. What I'd do is make the horizontal logs continuous and laying ontop of the vertical ones, and not chop the horizontal ones to pieces to fill the gaps, that'd be very hard to construct. Beside that the barn looks fabulous from the in- and outside!
  • Update your packs (beds), altho I need to check whether q updated all links and not only the automatic RP's...
