I fixed all the things you saidI'm unable to provide screenshots of the interiors I did,as I forgot the name of the village I did them in...whoops...I deleted and added some screenshots to show the improvements.Thank you for your application! I would like to give you some tips on what you can do to increase your chances to get accepted.
Your build you show in your screenshots above is a very good start. The houses are well built and you paid attention to detailing too.
Some houses (3 and 4 screenshot) and the watchtower could be improved with some more detailes at the walls.
The structure of your town wall is a bit simple. It consist of only two alternating columns which looks quite repetitive. Try to uses larger structures for walls, about 3 to 7 blocks wide before repeating the stucture. Weakest spot of your build is the backside of the wall which looks very flat, try to make it as interesting and detailed as the front side.
We would like to see that you have various building skills. It would be great to see screenshots of the interiors of the houses for example. Also you could try to make some real trees
So continue with themed builds and try to improve the points I mentioned above.
Aside from themed builds you can improve your chances to get Artist by helping with >>jobs and plotbuilds<<. When you finished a task for a Designer, remember to ask the Designer to give points to your application as described >>here<<.
Oh yeah...I forgot about the magical/helpful spell that makes the 6-sided logs.Try '/get logs' command for six sided logs
I added some more photosThank you for your application!
Thanks for the tips!I have checked out your Ephel Brandir today ingame, and I must say that your exteriors look very nice! The one thing you still can and should gather some experience though seems to be the interiors; it seems that your houses are fairly small and therefore not much space is available inside for a very intricate interior, but that is a common thing in rohan-styled builds. I really suggest you check out some of the smaller houses in Aldburg and the Rohan villages and how they filled the interior, and then try to do something similar!
I added some more stuffI just noticed: Try '/get logs' command for six sided logs, they are great for trees

Kk! Im on vacation atm,so i wont be able to until saturday or so.Thanks!Alright, well doneFound some more things I'd like to point out:
- Cover the roofs from the inside with wood, hay/thatch only would not be enough against the weather (rain etc.)
- place the doors so that there's no gap above them.
- make small paths to the doors, theres quite some entrances now which may have a close by path, but are still not connected to it.

Thanks for the tips! Once I have the time, I'll incorporate them to the castle. Thanks for the update!
Very impressive castle you got there indeed! Now a very tricky topic when attempting a build without pre-given style is chosing a good set of materials (Our Designers invest a lot of time into just this when planning a project). Usually it's good to chose 3-4 materials for the main part of the structure, you have only taken two (light gray bricks and only a small bit of cobblestone), and mainly because of that almost everything consists of the same material it looks rather boring. The shapes are great but don't neglect the importance of material choice! There's no rulebook for that, but here some tips that might help finding a good set of materials:
- 3 different materials +/- 1, not too many, not too few
- In the above, roof, floor and details (windows, doors, furniture...) don't count to this number of materials.
- These materials should be different enough to be clearly distinguishable. This means they should have different enough base colors (choosing two grey materials is tricky) but also have a different "shape" or texture (e.g. sandstone and bricks have the same texture in a different color and thus do only combine well if you use them very distinctively, which needs quite some experience)
- Use different materials for the floor than the building, especially on ground level (some smooth stone, cracked bricks, other stony materials, maybe dirt mixed together)
- Check out castles on MCME, try to count how many materials were used there.
