~ Project Progress ~
Anorien - Lead: @draonic_slayer | In Progress
Report by draonic_slayer
Progress on the Rammas Echor has been massive. With multiple plots being handed out and completed the block mixing, vegetation and gradient has been applied to the base structure of the wall. Huge thanks to all who have contributed to building. Mithrilled also finished off the gatehouse near Harlond, with an in-construction style. I personally pasted in towers along the wall, and it is all starting to come together, just the last details and fixes and the project shall be finished. Nothing else has happened through Anorien, as they still await textures.
Lond Daer – Lead: @mattlego | In Progress
Report by mattlego
With the sad resignation of Ivan1pl, I have now become the leader of Lond Daer. Everything should continue to run pretty smoothly despite this change. The houses in the northern part of the city are nearing completion and some more work on the walls has commenced. A lot of plots have been set up in the southern part of the city so if anyone is interested feel free to reach out to _Luk or I on discord. In the somewhat near future there might also be some plots available to work on the walls.

Media Team Recruitment:
By Sevy
Have you ever designed a poster for a school project? Put together a bullet journal that's aesthetically pleasing? Then I invite you to apply to layout with the Media Team!
Now before you say "What? Layouting? That's boring compared to taking badass screenshots!" consider that layouting has a whole lot of experimentation and opportunities for creativity too. And they don't require your potato computers to run shaders
For the full requirements and application details, read the forum post below!

Report by Soarz9Draonic_Slayer: Going straight from artist to designer, draonic has deserved the staff promotion 100%. Good luck on your future projects also make sure to have fun!

Interview with Video Team
Welcome back to another amazing interview with you fav Guide Achimdes! Today we have MULTIPLE (Yes I know!) guests on tonight's show. They do amazing cinematics for not only on our youtube channel but also our social media (linked down below). Yes it’s the one and only… Video Team!
The Team were all asked the same question, “Describe Video Team”
The new kid on the team, Johnny!
Video team is like this chaotic but wholesome group led by toti currently where we post equal amounts of cinematic and gifs
If you need help with your cinematics, don’t hesitate to ask. Call Xmine’s help desk today!
Scuffed, nice memes, good teamwork, last minute shit
He’s a really sleeping beauty, please welcome MASKI!!!!!
The work is done in the most chaotic perfectionistic last minute joking way possible
It’s the man, the Mith… that’s it… that's the joke.
Chaotic, but at the same time organized and still half of it is not about video's
Next up is our recently promoted manager, Sevy!
video team is officially made up of members experienced in replay mod and video editing
unofficially they've mastered the art of conversing in gifs
and
we suffer.... for the art
and for toti. either way it's gratifying
This players known for producing epic screenshots and cinematics, *drumroll* Gingerly!
The Video Team is a branch of the Media Team consisting of a team of people from across the ranks who put aside their time to help make high-quality content for MCME's YouTube account (and sometimes MCME's other social media accounts) without pay. Some of members make cinematics, others edit videos. Some even make cinematics and edit videos. The tool the team uses for making the raw cinematics is the Replay Mod. However, video editing software used varies from person to person. The branch is led by TotiGonzales, who has the final say on whether something is to be used on the YouTube account or not.
Here comes the guy who killed Lond Daer progress...in order to make ‘great’ cinematics, it’s Luk!
Hell where Toti is the devil, it is fun thought
Here comes our local video editor *insert sad editing noises*, it’s map!
Feedback
and pain
and fun times
there you go
Known for replying to 90% of messages with gifs, welcome Mershy!!
And last, but certainly not least, the video team leader, and sometimes perfectionist, Toti!
An Elite Team composed from the best of the best around the community focused on producing the highest quality content for our YouTube channel.

~ Winners of “The Week” ~
This week we have another round of amazing builds and Media posts. We only choose from the best every time, so hard work does pay off. Sometimes it can get competitive and that is what will win a place here. Please give a warm welcome to this Times, winners of this week.
MEDIA Winners:
I'll admit, I'm running out of things to say here. Y'all are doing a super job, of course, but you've heard that a hundred times by now at least. I want you all to keep up the good work but you've heard that nearly as many times. What else can I say? Perhaps I should say "remember to experiment with your shaders" or "keep experimenting with DOF". But I think by now you guys know I say stuff like that almost every Times edition. Well, for lack of anything else unique to say, thank you. Thank you all for your continued efforts to produce amazing content, whether it be for our social medias or just for fun. Thank you. ...Now get back to work! I expect shots at least twice as good next edition!
THEME-BUILD OF THE WEEK:
First Theme: Gondor Orchard
Second Theme: Ithilien Camp
~ Lore of the Week ~
Of Fangorn:Fangorn Forest was a deep, dark woodland that grew beneath the southern Misty Mountains, under the eastern flanks of that range. It gained ill repute as the habitat of the Ents in the Third Age. The forest, known as Entwood in Rohan, was named after the oldest Ent, Fangorn (Treebeard). Fangorn Forest was the oldest part of Treebeard's realm, and it is here the Ents retreated following the widespread deforestation caused by Númenóreans and other events leading up to the War of the Last Alliance at the end of the Second Age. Fangorn was within the borders of Gondor, but centuries passed without any Gondorian visiting to prove or disprove the legends around the Forest.
In the books it is mentioned by many characters that Fangorn is a dangerous and cursed place, similar to Mirkwood. This idea was likely started by the fact that any person who wandered far into Fangorn or cut down trees would have been killed by Ents. Along with the old and ominous feel of the forest, this most likely led people to believe that the forest was cursed, giving it its bad name.
Legolas described Fangorn as "tense" and "old, very old...and full of memory", and the Dwarf Gimli said that "the air is stuffy... lighter than Mirkwood, but it is musty and shabby." Legolas also said that the trees were speaking to each other, and that the trees have feelings. He said the Elves started it, waking up the trees and teaching them to speak. Peregrin Took described it as "very dim, and stuffy", comparing it to the Old Took's room in the Great Smials. Meriadoc Brandybuck contrasted the forest with Bilbo's description of the pitch-dark Mirkwood, saying, "This is just dim, and frightfully tree-ish”.
