Joining the server can be done straight away, but you will have to pass the New Player Quiz. Use the The New Player Guide to get acquainted with our community.
I could think of reasons for enforcers to have it, such as getting to a rulebreaker quicker if he is not near a warp (Unless they have tp opposed to call/accept)And I think enforcers have it because the other staff have it, but do you guys really need it?
I personally think high speed flight should be reserved for staff members and that plebeians such as yourselves should not have access to it. I will opress and lord over anyone who suggests otherwise and as an enforcer make new rules to stop them.

Could you explain why some of the reactions make you sad? Some of the reactions on this thread make me sad...
For grins. If you can write a well written response as to why they need it then I'd consider it
It is considerably faster than 1.7. So much so that when you "sprint fly" in 1.8 for the first time you'll go "whoa, that's nice!"Is it like, a significant boost in speed? Because you can already press *cntrl* to fly a bit faster in 1.7 but it's not the significant.
@pheonixsang , i'm sorry, but I realy have a problem with what you said there. Even in the whole context of this thread.I can see the point of not giving it to adventurers as they are not trusted members of the community yet.
Moderation is not censorship, nor is it a means to force one's ideology onto others.
Please be more respectful when addressing one another, as we are a community and will act like one.
I don't think she was referring to all adventurers, because clearly, some adventurers, such as yourself, are trusted. It's just that you can't differentiate between the trusted and not trusted in a permissions file.@pheonixsang , i'm sorry, but I realy have a problem with what you said there. Even in the whole context of this thread.
The ‘lag’ argument is quite misinformed. Bukkit’s chunk loading is threaded, it’s effect on the actual server tick is nowhere near as drastic as is being made out.
I recommend to any builder to utilise a flymod where they can. It allows for quicker assessments of builds both from a distance, and at various angles. The process of making adjustments & checking them becomes much more fluid (more time thinking/building, less time fighting with vanilla's slow, clunky creative flight) - which can help produce better looking stuff in the process.
