Opening statement
I'm back (Hello back, nice to meet you) with another MCME Times! The weather this week has been much too hot for me as the temperatures are going above 30 degrees Celsius and I am not used to it, particularly in the UK where it is always raining and cold, plus it is meant to continue like this for the rest of the week. However, that is enough weather forecasting for now, let's start to write this weeks Times!

Texture DevelopmentJace has now started to voxel a new valley in Andrast while matt is working with Eirol on the new textures.
Belfalas (In Progress) - Lead: @Darki
@Lindolas has been continuing to smooth the terrain over the pas week.
Dol Amroth (In Progress) - Lead: @Thijs1801
Houses were started to be built in Dol Amroth but no more houses will be built until we update to 1.12. @Wodleth has continued making a beautiful looking music school and a bit of work was done on the keep/palace.

Fireinferno has been building and ruining more halls in his area with the help of artists. Partick and Thomas have been running jobs that require Commoners, Adventurers, and Garys to break and place blocks in a way to make a hall look ruined.

@mattlego has been working with Eriol to make some textures for Andrast. Here is a screenshot of a sandstone texture that they have been working on:

Custom inventories / itemblocks (In progress) - Dev: @Eriol_EandurThere hasn't been much progress on the custom inventories this week as the New Gondor one and Moria one was released last week and Finrod has been very busy.

Public Meeting
Yesterday, we had the first ever MCME Public Meeting! For those of you who were not there, there should be information coming out about what happened at some point. But, now I will tell you what was decided for the last topic, "Public Meetings vs. Staff Meetings".
There will now be a staff meeting every two months and in between there will be a public meeting. So, this means that one month there will be a staff meeting and the following month there will be a public meeting.

The Lore-Off has now begun, and the time to sign up is past. Over the next few weeks we shall see who will be victorious and claim the title in this competition of lore geekery. I for one wish all of the candidates good luck, with the exception of my opponent of course.

Smaug's Lore Fact of the Week
This week's fact is known to quite a lot of people but this is for those who don't know it. There will be a much more detailed and less well-known fact next week.
Fact: Arwen is Aragorn's cousin.
They are cousins but sixty-three times removed. Aragorn is a descendant of Elros, who was Elrond’s brother. Elrond and Elros were part of a race called “halfelves,” which gave them the power to choose between elven and human lives. Elros picked life as a mortal man, while Elrond chose to be an elf. This is why Aragorn got to live longer than normal men. Arwen is daughter of Elrond which means that Aragorn and Arwen are cousins 63 times removed.
