Opening Statement
The MCME Two Trees Summer Event has finally started! If you really want to get the scoop on what is being held when, be sure to check out the thread HERE that lays out everything that is planned for the next month of fun and games. Therefore this week's issue of the MCME Summer Times will seek to give you a summary of all the events happening this week along with a little description in my own words to hopefully spark your interest. Otherwise sit back and relax to another edition of the MCME Times.

Project Progress
Cair Andros (Almost Done): Only one more major build is left for the fortress of Cair Andros as the Barracks Building Competition gets closer and closer to being all done, it is only a matter of time before this build is finished with a ribbon on top!
North Ithilien (Almost Done): The last few jobs were finished this week when it comes to root fixing and such. That means that the only things left to do are adding flowers and some fallen/dead trees here and there. Be sure to watch this project as it should be done soon!
South Ithilien (New): If you hadn't noticed already, a large part of South Ithilien has already begun. Specifically all of the terraforming for Emyn Arnen and the rivers has been nearly completed along with some of the connecting bridges. Be sure to watch for opportunities to help.
Osgiliath (In Progress): As the city itself has been done for a while now, jobs are continuing to be run throughout the city to begin and extend the process of ruining everything in an organized fashion
Paths of the Dead (In Progress): With the new textures being implemented into the Gondor Resourcepack, we are now able to proceed with integrating both the ghostly structures and stone supports. It is turning out to be quite an innovative build so be sure to check it out!

Adventure of the Week
By @Tryfor34
Greetings travelers! I hope last week's adventure was enjoyable. I appreciate your participation and I am glad to hear you survived Orc patrols, criminals and all of the dangers of the unexplored Middle Earth.
A new week means a new adventure. This week will show you some of the beautiful Hobbit-built towns of Middle Earth. But don't let the Shire Folk's appearance deceive you! Their relaxed lifestyle is easy to adapt to and very alluring, but it can lead any man into a life unbefitting of a brave adventurer.
Once you have successfully navigated through these towns, you will encounter the Brandywine. This mighty river flows over a great distance from lands far north to the swamps in the south. Cross this river to reach your adventure.
Travel to the Barrow-Downs, east of the Old Forest and west of Bree. Once used by Edain to escape conflicts with the Easterlings, these lands have traded hands from one evil to the next, including the deathly fingers of the White King of Angmar. It's inhabitants are of the unholy variety, ready and willing to kill you where you stand. However, despite it's history, some men say that what once lingered is no more. Your mission: uncover the truth. Enjoy the sights, roam the Vale of Andrath, and visit the ruins of the ancients.
A word of caution accompanies your journey: Riders in black have been spotted roaming these lands. They are not of the living kind, and they are believed to hunt you into your grave. All Hobbits take extra care. There are rumors that these Riders search for a Hobbit who possesses a very unique trinket. But these are all just tavern tales told to spook naughty children... or are they? Good luck!
Community Outreach
Jesse Cox: In case you didn't see him, Jesse visited the server on Saturday and was given a tour of all of the new locations and important information surrounding MCME and the like. He will be coming out with a video soon enough so be sure to watch out for an MCME spotlight on his channel!
Path of the Fellowship: @Finrod_Amandil has been working on mapping out the entire path of the fellowship with little footprints in the ground (you have probably seen them here and there). Here is a map if you are interested! Currently the path goes all the way from Bagend to Rivendell
Facebook Page: Have you checked out the MCME Facebook page? It is updated almost daily and provides not only great updates on the server, but also top screenshots, builds, promotions, and more! In other words, be sure to like us HERE.
Planet Minecraft Page: As stated before, please vote for us every day HERE. This helps draw attention and commemoration towards the server and is really appreciated by the community. So do your part and support MCME!
Times Feedback: Have a thought concerning the presentation of the MCME Times and how it can be improved? Because I am always looking for new ways to mix up and improve the Times experience through any means necessary and, if you have a comment or concern, its likely that someone else had it as well and just didnt say anything about it. So be sure to message me your thoughts on the forums.
Closing Statement
The Summer Event is just taking off and so far so good! Be sure to participate in the different events taking place as this is a once in a MCME opportunity as it is! Remember that Teamspeak is needed for most of the events and some of them require signing up for ahead of time which can be done on the main event page. Otherwise be sure to attend all of the events and enjoy them while they last!
Life is not so much about beginnings and endings as it is about going on and on and on. It is about muddling through the middle.
