6th Anniversary Event​
The Great Gondor Race will lead through the regions of Gondor where most work has been done during the last year. It will consist of four stages:

1. Andrast Mountain Flight
2. Anfalas Road Run
3. Lamedon and Belfalas Orienteering Race
4. Southern Beacons Flight​

We will have a winner for each stage and an overall winner calculated based on points for each stage:

Winner: 10 Points
2nd placed: 9 Points
3rd placed: 8 Points
....
10th placed: 1 Point

After each race some fun Hide and Seek games and Quizzes will take place at famous places in Gondor.

1. Andrast Mountain Flight
  • October 10th, 19:00 BST
  • Start near Ras Morthil
  • Finish at Iant Dirnen
A dashing flight race in the awesome landscape @jacenpeter and @Wroxxite are working on. You will fly through a twisting parcour with great views at mountains and cliffs.


2. Anfalas Road Run
  • October 11th, 19:00 BST
  • Start in Salt Flats
  • Finish near Rendul Castle
A beautiful run on roads in the lovely green hills of Anfalas @kisos and @DSESGH and many others spent hundreds of hours on. You will have to find the right road by looking out from one checkpoint for the next one.


3. Lamedon and Belfalas orienteering Race
  • October 12th, 19:00 BST
  • Start in Rendul Castle
  • Finish at the town gate of Methrast
Find your way through the regions of the first and latest project of Gondor we worked on this year. There will be very few checkpoints only which will be published shortly before the race.


4. Southern Beacons Flight
  • October 13th, 19:00 BST
  • Start in palace of Dol Amroth
  • Finish at the Citadel of Minas Tirith
A lot of new terrain, farms and villages were built during last year along the Southern Beacons of Gondor. Guess where the checkpoints will be.

You may join the race no matter if you missed the first two stage. This stage will have only a few checkpoints and you will have to find your path. I will post the locations of the checkpoints here about 2 hours before the race starts.

Start in about 2 hours, don't miss !!!​

Here are the checkpoint locations, you will have to find your own path from one checkpoint to the next:

Start: Inner court of Castle of Rendul
  1. Ford of Spathlin
  2. Eelry
  3. Tarnost West Gate
  4. Algodan
  5. Road junction outside of Linhir West Gate
  6. Road junction near Greymane Castle
  7. Goldarce
  8. Road junction near the large Bridge of Lostfalls
  9. Steelmoar
  10. Windmaw
Finish: Methrast North Gate​

The checkpoint gates will be created shortly before the race. They will be easy to find.

You may join the race no matter if you missed the first three stages. This stage will have checkpoints at all southern Beacons of Gondor. Start will be in Dol Amroth and finish at the Citadel of Minas Tirith.
