And just like that it’s time for another season of Events on MCME!

Hello once again old faces and new to the MCME annual Easter events; brought to you by your local guides, artists, commoners, designers, the lot! We’ve got lots planned for these spring events so let’s jump right into the action packed schedule we have planned for you all!

Please note that timezones have been adjusted to daylight savings in advance

~EGG HUNT~
Led by @givet10

5th April (10am UTC) and will last the duration of the events​

It wouldn’t be the spring events without the classic and nearly impossible egg hunt, which is said to still haunt players to this day! This year it’s brought to you by our favourite guide givet! So you all better brush up on your Tolkein and Middle Earth Lore

Like every year the first clue will be posted underneath this forums post on the 5th April at 10am UTC so make sure to check this forums post for the first clue, good luck everyone!

~SPRING PVP~

5th April: 5pm (UTC)​

This spring events is bringing you a new PvP gamemode, yes you heard us correctly, a new gamemode! It is a classic FFA (Free For All) but with a fun festive twist. As always on MCME it’ll be a competition so be prepared for the rage quits and screaming commoners in the Events VC! More will be revealed on the day because we don’t ruin the surprise beforehand. So, grab your swords and shields because this will be a battle like no other!

~GREAT LORE TOUR~

6th, 9th and the 13th April 2021: 3pm (UTC)​

Again another MCME classic that is being brought back for the Easter events is the beloved Great Lore Tour. For those who don’t know, the Great Lore Tour is one big tour of the MCME map, broken up into different days and led by different members of the MCME community, from commoners to guides and artists. This year’s GLT will be covering locations from Bree, to The Paths of the Dead, to Minas Tirith so make sure to be there or be square!

A Build Day on MCME? A rare sight indeed but the Easter events team is excited to be bringing you a build day like no other! To add a bit of spice (as draonic would say) we aren’t going to tell you what the job is, so you will all have to hope it’s something out of this world and amazing. Will you be able to reach bart's amazingly hight standards? Be there to find out!

~SUPER MCME GALAXY~

Another staple for the MCME festive events is the what the hell did mapthor make again, be prepared for hours of pain and torture as you struggle to make it past near impossible parkour and many other surprises to test your skills and most importantly your patience along the way.

~LORE HOUR SPECIAL~
Led by @TheStephen and @Melkor_Belegurth

8th April: 6pm (UTC)​

The spring events edition of Lore Hour will be a bit different to our weekly scheduled debate. We’re calling all the Lore enthusiasts to go head to head with Melkor in a lore quiz to rival no other to see who has what it takes to be one of MCME’s resident Lore experts!

~BUILD BATTLE SPECIAL~

11th April: 6pm (UTC)​

And last but definitely not least is our weekly build battle, which will be receiving an spring make over for this edition! As usual the theme will be decided closer to the time, so stay tuned to find out what it is, and you will have to sign up on the google forms which @Johnyeric will be sure to provide a few days prior to the event!

~SPRING EVENT UPDATES~

First week of events down, one to go!

We started off with the Egg Hunt, with people smashing their heads together trying to figure out @givet10 near impossible clues but do not fear you still have a week left until the hunt ends so get searching!

The final instalment of The Great Lore Tour will take place on Tuesday at 3pm UTC. So far the GLT Team has logged 5 and a half hours between them! So make sure to be there for the finale!

On Thursday we have our Build Day! Starting at 2pm UTC with @_Luk @mattlego @ConfusedLlama_ @Johnyeric taking charge, make sure to be there for a build day you wont forget!

And because @Melkor_Belegurth remains undefeated in terms of lore knowledge, I'm serious not even one point was scored against this man in our Lore Hour Special, we've decided to go for Round 2 on Thursday 6pm UTC. So if you think you can defeat the undefeated make sure to tune in to another lore hour special!

And to top it all of we've got the Super MCME Galaxy Event. Yes this is another @mapthor Creation that will be a test of skill, patience and your ability to not break down in the Events VC. Sunday 5pm UTC

~SPRING EVENT WINNERS AND CLOSING STATEMENTS~​

So with the Spring Events finally drawing to a close I'm sure you are all desperate to know the winners of each event, so here goes nothing!

~EGG HUNT~​

The Spring Events started with the one and classic MCME Egg hunt (designed this year by @givet10 which tested your intelligence, patience and ability to think outside of the box. The clues were not only hidden in plain sight on the main map this year but also embedded in our forums, YouTube channel and even hidden in discord messages. Well done for all who participated now here's the winners:

~SPRING PVP~​

After people struggled for hours to find the Last Egg, we eventually made it to the Spring PvP ,which, after a some last minute coding, @Mortal_Engineer @Johnyeric and @Eriol_Eandur managed to get the new gamemode ready in time . As we all expected the winner of the Spring PVP, collecting over a few hundred eggs was *drumroll*:

~GREAT LORE TOUR~​

The Great Lore Tour team manage to equal the run time of all 3 movies! Big thank you to @D3rr3x @givet10@Emeryld @Haldir_123 @Orruss and @junoknight for sharing there incredible knowedeldge with us.

~LORE HOUR SPEICAL~

What an event this was, people step forward to go up against one of our Lore experts @Melkor_Belegurth . For the first round not a single person manage to score a single point against Melkor so in true MCME fashion we scheduled a rematch but, to our dismay only one person managed to beat Melkor throughout the entire event. So I would like to give a big congratulations to @Visstick9 for managing to score our Lore master.

~BUILD BATTLE SPEICAL~​

What a way to end Build Battle Season 3! This weeks theme was pretty fitting for Easter, 'what's inside the Egg', and again in true MCME build battle style some of the final products were 'interesting' to say the least. Again we can only have so many winners so the podium positions were as follows:

~BUILD DAY~​

I am glad to say that this build day was 'super'(you see what I did there?!) successful. We managed to finish around 50% percent of the Lond Daer wall! Another big thank you to @Johnyeric @_Luk and @mattlego for setting all of it up and keeping those pesky droogs in line!

~SUPER MCME GALAXY~​

With 2 and a half hours of pain and suffering, to many of the spectators surprise we did actually see people finish @mapthor's near impossible Super MCME Galaxy race. Big thanks to everyone who helped to build the monstrosity of a race and congratulations to the following players for having the patience of saints and completing the race:

Well thats it, thats the Spring Events finished. I hope everyone had an amazing time and enjoyed the events we had in store for you. I just want to make one final thank you to @Nelman_Black for creating some fantastic posters, @ItsJustPeyton @Sevy689 for working on the social media, and of course to everyone who helped plan, build and compete in the events.
