Working in IT - even tho normally as a programmer, not with Hardware, it's somewhat a must to assemble an own PC at some point, so here's what I did bout half a year ago:

Power Supply: be quiet! Dark Power Pro 11 (850W)
Display: 2x Acer Predator XB271HU (27", 2560 x 1440 Pixels)

  • Additional internal USB-3 slot and Back USB slots: Delock 89315 PCI Express 2x USB 3.0 LP
Want to add/change: Nothing, but I regret buying only a 1TB SSD and 6TB HD, should have bought a bigger SSD as I am barely using the HD so far.
notes: Had to tape a cover onto my Power and Reset buttons as my cat loves to lie ontop of the case, as its nice and warm up there from the cooling exhaust, and she kept turning my PC off.

  • Second keyboard for writing Elvish: WASD Keyboards V3 88-Key Custom Mechanical Keyboard (with custom key cap print)
Truly legendary. Do you also use custom Elvish fonts? None of the ones I'm familiar with place numbers on the number keys, along with some other discrepancies on your keyboard.

I created a new keyboard layout based on the Dan Smith style fonts. The goal was to get a keystroke for as many font characters as possible.
That keyboard is basically 2 days work and 200$
