What makes a great Guide according to you? A great Guide is someone who is patient and willing to devote their time to ensure players are offered an engaging experience on the server. Guides should be able to both be a role-model and a leader, but also be able to still engage with the community. Guides should have adequate knowledge and experience to be able to address most questions that come up, and should be open minded and able to learn if they don't have an answer. Though it is important Guides have a good understanding of Tolkien's work, in my opinion, the best Guides are effective at communicating and sharing their enthusiasm for his works and for the server, and are willing to do research to cover any holes in their lore knowledge. A great Guide is finally creative, able to offer new and insightful ideas when helping plan events, and able to find new ways to engage players.
