What makes a great Guide according to you?
It has always been a belief that what makes the mcme server different is its community, fostering creativity, learning, enthusiasm, bonding and generally fun amongst the people coming onto the servers of mcme is and should be the motto of any guide who is willing to go the extra mile.
The guide is generally the first person that a newcomer to our community will be confronted to. I remember that the first person that I actually got to talk to when i joined mcme was Jord who brought me along on a tour, this key moment was what probably made me stay on the server for the years to come. As such a good guide is someone who should keep people enthused towards the server and show them what great things can be accomplished on here.
Additionally a great guide will provide the community an anchor to promote the general creativity of the people. To commit ourselves to the community means to commit ourselves to organize events and day-to-day activities in which the community will come out stronger through bonds of friendship.
I also believe lastly that a great guide is somebody with a project, somebody who has the idea and the will to bring something new to the server so that the people on it may benefit from the project and participate in it. I have the specific idea that for the people to enjoy fully the spirit of mcme, they should be able to participate as full members of any project thought out by a member of the community and as such a guide is not only a project manager, but also someone who grants empowerment to the rest of the server, helping towards making anyone a full-fledged participant of the community's regular activities.
