Hey @Norir Thank you for applying for Artist!

It's up to you to keep updating this application. I will check in from time to time and give feedback when I think it's needed. This thread might help you as well.
For any further questions please write me on discord or the forums.

Good luck!

Here are also some screenshots of my Harad theme build
Not bad, the general esthetic is good, but the individual houses are a bit lacking in some areas:

- Make sure the houses are unique, maybe switch up some of the window designs, (larger/smaller, shutters/no shutters, glass/no glass...), switch up some of the foundations of the houses, or some of the roof detailing (though that's not too bad all ready)
- It's a bit weird to store melons all over the place
- I like the wool covers, but keep them white, or another bright colour, like light blue (fits better in desert climate)
- Would have either added more, or spread them out a bit more, there's no need for it to be that dense, seeing how much space is left.
- With that amount of water I'd expect a fair amount of greenery, maybe some palm trees or water plants and definitely some grass close by the water.
- Why is the path so far away from the village?

ok i overworked the most, but it is just a very small "village" and the "houses" are so close together, that they can keep the cold better. so far it is just a small concept for some builds in the far desert of harad. I will try to make them look more different and will send new screenshots the following days

Here are also some roads from the job i did this night (23/24.03.2019)

I have redone parts of my harad theme (it should be like an outpost in the desert, where people can take a break and refresh from the journey through the desert), but i will send screenshots somewhen else, when the textures are fixxed, because some custum blocks have no texture right now.

Today i joined the job with Mershy (Mershy_) in moria to smooth out some rocks and build some walks for orcs in the wall (+some holes in the side to sleep)

, and i am waiting, until the gondor pack is fixxed (some custom blocks in themebuild), also i try to finish the exterior of my tomb probably tomorrow

I finished my tomb at Durin's Crossroad (second one), here ar some screenshots

And here are the missing screenshots of the Harad TB, it is a trade-Outpost where sellers can store their goods and take a break. Also they are making carpets on the roof and have a raincatcher for water, in the different "blocks" are a few flats in the lower floors and storages and eating place in the upper Floors.

Here are the screens i announced of my build, it is not a special place in Middleearth, it shows farmland and i made different "spots" for chrop and trees, that it has different structures. Hope you like it and because I made this for the first time, i am open for advice, if I can improove something.

Hey Norir, you definitely have improved from the time you started this application. While I think the actual individual components of this castle are visually good, detailed, and well-built... I think the overall layout and composition of everything needs some improvement. I'm going to be referencing many of the newer builds in Anorien as examples when I say this, but the overall shape of your build is slightly weird. Very very compact and I feel needs to be more plain circular. Think of the functionality as well, is there a well for water, enough storage, proper accommodation (beds seem somewhat randomly placed and squeezed in), a place for horses. Maybe you do have some of these elements already however it is hard to see from the pictures. Another thing that I think you should consider is how it fits in with you landscape (which is plain but I mean is well built). Maybe add a moat, or a path, maybe some construction with some stumps close by signalling they just built the place, a wagon outside, heads on pikes. I think with themebuilds its important to showcase that you build feels alive, inside with all the swords and stuff it does, but on the outside which is a majority of your plot it doesn't. Anyway hope this helps and good luck, I think you're pretty close to Artist if you continue improving at this rate.

Here is a house, i changed up a little bit (break a wall in the back, completed the one side of the house, extended the living area and did some detailes.
It is not much, but I just felt like i have to post anything and I just finnished this, i hope I can send in some days some screens of the Workshop-place i did for mershy (Mershy_)

Here is the Moria workplace i was offered to do, I did it as i imagined and if Daom's version looks kinda similar to it, it is because he copied it. Non the less I hope you like it the way i did and if there is something to improve, just leave an advice here. If you want to see it ingame, just msg me when i am online or visit it at my FB (if you know how to get there). I tried this kind of workplace for the first time and got some advice, but most of the stuff, shapening and idears are mine, although i followed the stuff Daom wrote on signs, what should be in this workplace.

I did a job with Mithrilled (hosted by FoolhardyFish) today, where we mixed up some walls in anorien. Also i made one houseinterior as a plot for mith (picture with the small room) and i build over the last days a house in anorien-style in Freebuild (all the other Pictures)
