Dear Sir q220,

My name is in Minecraft 17ThedarkLord and my real name is Martin Siepert. I am 17 years old and come from Germany. My job is Administrator. I have knowledge of Linux and Windows Server 2012. I want to be an architect on your server Minecraft-Middle Earth because i begin to build Bara-Dur. Now i have the problem, that i build "a little bit" of Bara-Dur on my own server and i want to copy this but then we must copy my superflat-world on your server. The easier way is that we copy the world from my server to yours and you teleport me in this world. For this big project i need World Edit because when i want to do a cycle i use the command //hsphere and then i cut it, that i have only a ring (cycle). For example when i want to build a part of Bara-Dur. I want to build any part of Bara-Dur extra and then i want to copy and paste the parts to a tower. I dont know if the 256 building height is enough but i think with copy and paste you can build higher then 256 blocks. I build Bara-Dur like the Bara-Dur in the Battle for Middle Earth Worldbuilder. I plan all steps. I do nothing unknowing. I want to have with you a compact where we define our consultations. Now is the question: Do you allow this? I hope you do it because i build Bara-Dur exactly like in the Worldbuilder from the Battle for Middle Earth.

Yours sincerely,

17ThedarkLord or Martin Siepert!

Hello 17ThedarkLord,

Even though we appreciate your offer of sharing your work with us we can not accept it for several reasons. The main reason is, that all of our builds are original builds from the MCME Community and not from single persons, regardless how good they may have done it. Our goal is not to complete Middle Earth as fast as possible, we want to build it.
Furthermore Staff permissions like using WorldEdit are only give access to if you actually achieve the Designer Staff rank via either being Artist or Ranger before. (also you can't build higher than 256 blocks using WE).

We'd be glad if you join our community! Then you may give some helpful inputs to the building of Barad-dûr once we come to building it. (Mordor will probably be the next big project to tackle after Gondor)

I don´t want to build it alone . The "exactly build" of Bara-Dur is only because it´s more realistic.
I want to be a part of MCME!

You can build on jobs without being staff or artist For the time being, if you want to help on barad-dur when it is being built, you should try for artist and then designer. Who knows, by that time you might be staff

If you wish to apply for artist or designer, do so in these threads. Be sure to read the format posts before posting your application.
Artist:

Designer:

And a slightly unrelated piece of information: if you have build-related concerns, you should contact our build admin, @Credoo, or any Designer.

EDIT: Moved thread out of Jobs and Projects
