What makes a great Guide according to you? There are two fundamental aspects to a great guide - Knowledge of Middle-Earth's lore/MCME and passion. Knowledge of Tolkien's lore is important because guides should be capable of answering questions community members have regarding the lore of certain builds, locations, and characters. It is also helpful for guides to be capable of making sure all of our builds remain as accurate as possible and helping builders plan new projects. Knowledge of MCME's current projects, past projects, and what encompassed them would help Guides introduce new community members to the server and what has been accomplished thus far. Most importantly, I think a passion for working with the MCME community, hosting events, and guiding new players is absolutely vital, as guides should be the smiling faces (metaphorically) that make this community continue to thrive.
