Hello folks!
I just found out that the distant horizons mod now properly supports resource packs!
Also, if chunks get loaded into their LoDs, they get saved as a file.
Meaning that, if that file can be just downloaded by everyone who wants to use distant horizons, they would not have to need to fly over the whole world themselves to see it all!
Problematic are the different resource packs, since distant horizons can only have LoDs for one resource pack at a time, however I heard that the ultimate goal is to have resource packs merged into one.
For now, it would totally be possible to get an LoD for a whole region, such a eriador and people could download it and immediately see the whole region on their first join, without having to load it themselves first!
What do you guys think?
(Also would distribution of these LoDs be against some rules for mcme?)
