Cast the Silmarillion

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but there is not currently a planned film adaptation of the Silmarillion in the works. However, it would be cool to imagine which actors and actresses would play which roles.

Here are a few of my thoughts:

Feanor: Leo DiCaprio
Manwe: Morgan Freeman
Hurin: Liam Neeson
Mim: Peter Dinklage
Melian: Meryl Streep

Who would you cast?

I wouldn't cast anyone, since Silmarillion is not a good book to be filmified.

@RubenPieterMark it's true though, the silmarillion is not a filmifiable book. It has way too much of theology and other random stories that don't tie in well with eachother. However it might be an okay series, but movie 100% no go.

Shadap Pieter, I look at things realistically, and fun is a secondary thing.
