I get you want everyone to be able to see everything, but how about this: Thralls can fly, but Commoners get other perks. Not merge them! Thats stupid, and angers many of us Ex-Commoners.

But i guess i had a first reaction similar to yours. Its really not a big deal at all, those 2 ranks were very similar.
If you think about it, the only thing that happened was that thralls were given the ability to fly.
