Hello mcme peoples, I've decided to create a bit of my own art thread. Drawing is a bit of a hobby, I have the same interest in drawing as I do in mcme, might be a decent drawer (If I do say so myself ) but there is always more to learn.

Here's an old battle scene I did awhile back, you could say the knights on the left are trying to fight an army of Saurons, not looking too good.

Dragons, but partially inspired by some concept/artwork of fellbeasts.

Indeed, the boor came at me, I leveled my spear and pierced its skull.

I was serious, a "boor" is another word describing a bad mannered, rude person. So I thought to myself, "Geesh, he killed a guy and skinned him? Bender's a badass over here."

So basically, decided to take a very long break from working on the digital battle painting. I did this drawing instead.

I often think modern culture needs a reminder of what a dragon really is, not at all to say that it's some terrible evil to portray them in a good light, but I also just find them much more interesting when they're evil.

Although, I am mortally afraid of this :

After several weeks of work, probably with a version that is not final, I have before you here a digital paint version of Sir Legion and the dragon Hyperion. Not quite sure why it's bleary, but I hope you can still enjoy it!

Hocus pocus, blendy bendy, and wala, this thread has been resurrected!

The long white bar down the left side is an edition to the paper length using my scanner, there was just barely enough room for the short sword he holds, so I decided to add a bit more to the paper.

Spent the last four or five days straight painting this, (it took me foreeeever to figure out how to paint metal)
There are a few things which I could go into further detail with, but I hope you enjoy!

Pencil, then used contrasting filters after I scanned it (doesn't really change the image, just enhances line visibility, makes it easier for digital painting)
