Minecraft Middle Earth is a Minecraft community that recreates the world described by JRR Tolkien and his writings. Everyone can participate in organized events in which we collaborate to create major landmarks, terrain, caves, castles, towns, farms and more.
To get started, visit The New Player Guide
Joining the server can be done straight away, but you will have to pass the New Player Quiz. Use the The New Player Guide to get acquainted with our community.
The goal of this project is to give each fraction or rank a place to see what the rank is all about and give the ranks a sense of unity, spread ideas and such. There is a place as you probably already have noticed where you can leave your name on a pillar and leave contents in the storage in the floor right in front. This is just to add some history to MCME and show newer players who was once holding these ranks and so on. The style is a castle for the outside of the base but as you probably also noticed there are some places which don't fit in medieval castle stype like a hot tub, basketball court and so on. This is just to add some fun and shouldn't be overdone. I'm going to add a space right outside for the artist community once the main build is done and hopefully this will either be a new extension to the base or various smaller builds made by artists but I haven't decided yet and will probably hold a poll in the near future.Oh so you are the "leader" of this project. I've been wondering about that for a long time now. I placed my name on the builders notice board outside the castle a long time ago but haven't really done much (as of yet I've only added some lighting in the hall of artists and that's it).
What is the goal of this project? Do you have a certain style in mind or is it more like an free for all? Or what?
it really do.I know I normally say this as a joke but it needs more lava.
If you don't have stripper poles and the casino then it's not a true artist mansionAs many of you know I started a base for the Artists of MCME on the free build server a while ago. Because of recent events and builds on the server DA and Moria, I was spending less time on it. However, I have started building it again with the help of Julian and Raf.

Artist Base
This is a place for all Artists of MCME to just have fun share ideas and leave their personal mark somewhere. It's also a place to get ideas, introduce styles and etc. If one looks on the dynmap they can even see a place for commoners not far from this base. Maybe this can be a new idea where we just have a place for each rank and all can explore and see who was once this rank or is in it. Its also just a good idea to have a sense of unity in a rank.
I think this adds a fun twist to some styles which we are using now and gives us a break from building strictly LOTR stuff but still with the same community.
Didn't you notice that fire's head was a bit floppyBy the way. That "skull of the first Artist" would belong to 10 different people as there were ten members promoted to Builder (later renamed to Artist) all at once when it was first introduced (like Will_em, Ma5terMinD and Thatruben to name some of the ones I know of today).
Either that or it belongs to Fireinferno13 as he was the first to be promoted into the Artist rank after it got that name.
Maybe a casino but no stripper poles. If you don't have stripper poles and the casino then it's not a true artist mansion
I thought his scull was made of adamantium? How did you even get it out without killing... oh wait.. let me guess, he regenerated a new scull?Didn't you notice that fire's head was a bit floppy
He is in the processI thought his scull was made of adamantium? How did you even get it out without killing... oh wait.. let me guess, he regenerated a new scull?

No stripper poles (family friendly server), but probably a number of structural fence poles that just happen to be on wool platforms would be realistic.Maybe a casino but no stripper poles.
