Background Lore:

Annúminas means "Tower on the West".

The city was once the capital city of the Kingdom of Arnor. It was located in the land of Evendim ("evening twilight") along the southern shores of Lake Evendim, the origin of the Brandywine River. The city was home to the Kings of Arnor and was founded by High King Elendil himself (3320 S.A., 122 years before begining of T.A.). It was the first capital of the chief Palantír of the North.

Annúminas was once prosperous but was abandoned in the years after the war of the Last Alliance. The city was too large to justify being occupied by the reduced population of those left in Arnor. By the end of the Third Age Annúminas had lain in ruins for more than 2,000 years.

After the War of the Ring, early in the Fourth Age, Elessar (Aragorn) refounded the city and made it his northern capital. The king would often spend his time at Annúminas and meet his friends there.

Step 1: Getting everything ready (artists+)

The middle class district (orange) has been reorganized! That means a lot of the house pillars and floors are derped.

  1. Please find houses marked with orange wool above them and go around the exterior/interior and make sure everything looks alright.
  2. Attach the house to the available road
  3. When done, mark your house with green wool

Note: Dont worry folks! This will be open to the public by next week at the latest!

I fixed all of the exteriors on the orange houses but about 5 need to have a completed interior

Calling on @Fireinferno13
As much as I wish that Commoner still existed, I believe the freebuild should be Adventurer+.

Also, I know it will be ruined, but this wall is a little bit too easy to bypass for my liking:

I added several new plots - some of these are kinda weird in shape so be sure to plan them out beforehand!

ANNUMINAS FARMHOUSE FREEBUILD [closed]
  1. MUST be familiar with style
  2. It is located past the normal housing freebuild (follow the road on the right)
  3. All houses should be one story tall
  4. Houses should be modest

The only thing that really needs to be get rid off is all those spikes. What's even the point of them? Sure a few of them is oke, but spamming them like that makes Annúminas look like some vampire city or something.

It is actually part of Annuminas' unique architectural design. (Most Gondor/Arnor cities have one) They aren't exactly meant to serve a purpose, except maybe for intimidating attacking armies.

It doesn't look very good tho, what happened to the amazing designs by Wheellee and Jacenpeter anyways?

First. Excuse you. Happy to take constructive criticism but these comments serve literally no purpose - not only is it a too little too late but also a little rude to the people who have been involved in this project as you yourself have not contributed at all to the style or construction yourself. Rather than making a petty power play, I suggest keeping such comments to yourself as they arent welcome here.

Second. The somewhat excessive use of spikes was acknowledged by Jace and myself recently. Here was our take on it:
1) The city will be ruined, these spikes will not matter in the long run as they will likely be the first things to degrade due to weather and poor upkeep
2) This was the style chosen from those offered initially, including those by Jace and Wheell. In fact, Jace and bender constructed the entire palace so it was a direct application of their style

ANNUMINAS UPPER CLASS FREEBUILD (adventurer+) - CLOSED
  1. /warp AnnuHouse FB
  2. Review the guide on the right
  3. Build a 2-3 Story House
  4. NOTE: There are special guidelines at the end of the road for this type of house so be sure to check those out before starting as these houses should generally be larger than the first batch
