Convenient creation of complex banners.


A banners consists of a base which has only a color but no texture and up to 6 different patterns which have a texture and a color each.


The banner editor features a number of commands to select properties of a banner you want to change. The changes are applied to a banner by clicking at it with a stick in hand.


Commands:
Most commands have shortcuts like /banner a. Parts of a command which are not in bold letters may be omitted.

  • /banner
    Shows the current mode of banner editor command

  • /banner <#patternId>
    Select the pattern to edit. <#patternId> must be a number from 1 to 6.

  • /banner texture [#patternId]
    Select change texture mode. You may specify a [#patternId] as above. Otherwise the previously selected pattern is used. In this mode you can cycle the texture of the currently selected pattern by clicking at it with a stick in hand (left/right cycles in forward/backward direction).

  • /banner color [#patternId]
    Select change color mode. You may specify a [#patternId] as above. Otherwise the previously selected pattern is used. To change the color of the banner base use 0 for [#patternId]. In this mode you can cycle the color of the currently selected pattern by clicking at it with a stick in hand (left/right cycles in forward/backward direction).

  • /banner add
    Select add pattern mode. In this mode you can add patterns to a banner by clicking at it with a stick in hand.

  • /banner remove [#patternId]
    Select remove pattern mode. You may specify a [#patternId] as above. Otherwise the previously selected pattern is used. In this mode you can remove the currently selected pattern by clicking at it with a stick in hand.

  • /banner list
    Select list patterns mode. In this mode you will get a list of all patterns of a banner when clicking at it with a stick in hand.
  • /banner shield
    Select get custom shield mode. In this mode when clicking at a banner with a stick in had you will get a custom shield with the pattern copied from the clicked banner.

  • /banner get
    Select get banner mode. In this mode you will get in inventory a copy of the banner you clicked at with a stick in hand.

  • /banner files [subdirectory] [#page]
    Shows a list of saved files in the specified [subdirectory] or the main banner save directory. Clicking at a subdirectory show the files there. Clicking at a file loads that banner and places it in your inventory.

  • /banner load <filename>
    Loads a banner from file and places it in inventory of the player who issues the command. <filename> may include a subdirectory, e.g. gondor/imrahil

  • /banner save <filename> <description>
    Saves the banner in hand to a file. <filename> may include a subdirectory

  • /banner delete <filename>
    Deletes a saved banner file. <filename> may include a subdirectory. You may always delete banner filey you have saved yourself. Banner files saved by other players can be deleted by Head Designer only.
