suggestion for porting middle-earth project to Minecraft Bedrock

santiago13qch

Is going on an adventure!
How about hiring a group of programmers to port the textures, blocks, etc. to Minecraft Bedrock like they did with Minas Tirith, the reason I'm making this post is because I saw that you're making Mordor and I love Mordor, I truly admire Mordor and my favorite character from Lord of the Rings is Sauron The Dark Lord himself, and I'm a Minecraft Bedrock player, and seeing the construction of Mordor that you're making makes me very sad because I can't be there, I hope you understand my pain and accept my suggestion

We aren't a commercial enterprise so the financial aspect is ... challenging? Everyone here volunteers with their free time and interest in the project.
Maintaining or porting everything over to bedrock is a huge undertaking and for what benefit apart from more exposure? Then there would be two projects, Java and Bedrock, doing whatever their communities are interested in doing.

What we are looking out for is better Geyser functionality to have better bedrock and java intercompatibility so that those two systems can all join the same server.

In case you don't know what Aternos is, Aternos is a website where you can create a server that Java and Bedrock players can join on the same server. If you don't know how to create the server in Aternos you could look for a YouTube tutorial that will help you create the server.

I guess Aternos is using GeyserMC too.
We could install GeyserMC at our servers but it would help much without converting our resource packs. And we would need some kind of automation of that conversion as we are keep developing our resource packs. This is quite a big project. I really want to do that at some point but it's not a top priority at the moment.

Ok
